Wire Wrap Oval Turquoise Earrings Lessons Part 1

I am going to share with you guys the process pictures of making and wire wrap the oval turquiose and turn it to a beautiful pair of earrings! Do feel free to leave me comment if you have suggest to improve the technique.

Materials:
2 oval shaped turquoise beads
Silver plated copper wires 0.8mm
Silver plated copper wires 0.3mm
Some seed beads

Step 1
Cut approximately 13cm of 0.8mm copper wires.
Bend to 90 degree 0.6cm from the edge of the wires.

Step 2
Hold the wires at the curve where you bend the wires to 90 degree using the round nose pliers.
Wrap the wires around the round nose as shown in picture.

Step 3
Make spiral by wrapping the wires around the circle. You may hold the pliers onto the spiral and use the other hand to help you wrap around the circle.

Step 4
Make around 3-4 wraps.

Now with the help of the oval shaped bead, wrap the wires around it to form a oval shape below the spirals.

Step 6
Remove the bead. Cut approximately 30cm of 0.3mm copper wires. Attach one end of the thin wires by wrapping it around the thick wires for 3 times.

Step 7
Thread in a seed bead.

Make a 90 degree bend where you would like to place the seed bead.

Push the seed bead towards the end and wrap the thin wires around the thick wires for 2 times.

Step 8
Continue step 7 until you reach step 9.
